Master Ground Work Video:

We are SO proud of this girl!!! Her first trip to Will Rogers in Ft. Worth and she never took a step wrong!. It was by far her largest show and she just handled it all like a seasoned pro. Lydia is just so good under saddle. At 3, she's still green, but she is so good-minded! Lydia is extremely light in the bridle and soft to ride. Just a whisper from the rider is all it takes. She is great in a super crowded warm-up and doesn’t care if every horse leaves the arena. No problem to ride solo. She’s been introduced to lateral work and has a green side pass, leg-yield, and she will yield haunches and forequarters. She's also beginning to put the pieces together for a haunches-in and shoulder-in! Lydia is the perfect lady or youth horse!!

Lydia is has EXTENSIVE ground-work training! You MUST see the ground-work videos!! There are not many young horses who have had as much exposure and handling as her. Her ground manners cannot be beat! She received great exposure to the trail as a yearling and 2-year-old, being ponied off site down the trail. She’s been hand walked solo down the trail too and executed a wide variety of obstacles too… which she loved! Very sweet and safe on the ground with ZERO silly business. Plus, she’s the kind of mare who comes running up from the back pasture when you call her name! It doesn’t get better than that as a loving horse owner!

Lydia is UTD on shots, coggins, floats and farrier work. She is barefoot and never been shod. She is on 24/7 turnout except during storms. Lydia is registered with IALHA and USEF. Lydia was raised around dogs, goats, neighboring cows and she’s used tractors, 4-wheelers and county road type traffic.

We bought Lydia at 5 months old directly from the breeder, with the intent to resell. My heart is in training in the babies now and I’ve recently acquired my next filly. Lydia is a total character (we do lovingly call her ‘Turkey’ 😊), she is an entertainer and performer through and through. She’s a sweet, silly mare and will bring you lots of joy and laughter!

This girl is not even afraid of smoke & fire!
